Zennara runs eco-certified property and facility management: institutional-grade operations for sustainable, green buildings across Nairobi and beyond. Not my company. The tech still had to work.

I stepped in as tech partner and lead CTO. The scope was everything technical: the client-facing site, the client portal behind it, the systems running day-to-day operations.

That's a different job from building your own startup. Someone else's brand, someone else's clients, no room to move fast and break their things. The job was making the technical side reliable enough to be boring.
